Dear Lori, I am writing to thank you for your services in connection with my divorce from my wife of 25 years. It would be difficult to fully capture in words what it meant to me to have you as my attorney sheparding me through that by any measure is one of the most difficult transitions that life offers. Although we did not accomplish our original goal of resolving the divorce through the mediative process that you specialize in, I think that we may have actually accomplished something more elusive. With your guidance, we applied many of the principles of success mediation techniques to traditional divorce litigation, and accomplished a result that may ultimately be very close to what we would have achieved otherwise. It is very clear to me that it would not have gone that way if I did not have your wise and calm counsel throughout the process. It seems strange to say this perhaps, but I am satisfied with the divorce, the compromises that we reached, and most importantly, where that leaves me and my family, including my ex-wife, as we enter this new phase of our lives together. It takes a special person to be a good lawyer, a wise counsel, and a thoughtful friend, all at the same time. I am truly grateful for all you have done. Warmest Regards, Len
